In Flames To Release Digital Single For “Where The Dead Ships Dwell” Next Month

In Flames are readying a digital single for their track “Where The Dead Ships Dwell“. The effort will see a November 15th release and will feature the title track along with three separate remixes of it done by Casper, The Qemists and Kristof Bathory of Dawn Of Ashes. The latter remix will be an iTunes exclusive.

Am I the only one who can’t remember enjoying a remix version of a metal track more than the original? Let’s take it to the poll…

in flames – cloud connected (club connected) remix was better than the original, slipknot has some good mixes, super swinging sexy sounds is one of the best remix albums ever, i think if they are done right, still leaving most of song in tact, its good. coal chamber had good ones, too many more to name.

Good call with “Supersexy Swingin’ Sounds”.
The Genghis Tron remixes are mostly all dope.
Drumcorps made kickass remixes from Animosity’s “Animal”.
But yeah, nothin’ can really beat the originals.
      nin has great remixes, too..
