The 2011 edition of the now annual ‘Black Friday’ “Record Store Day” festivities has begun to take shape. Here’s some highlights of what you can expect to find in stores on November 25th:

Doors – “L.A. Woman” (7″ vinyl box set)
Dream Theater – “Metropolis Pt 2: Scenes From A Memory” (180 gram vinyl)
Elf – “Elf” (12″ numbered, picture disc with hologram)
Jamey Jasta/All That Remains – split (“Some Of The People, All Of The Time“/”Mourn The Allusion“) (7″)
Nirvana – “Nevermind – The Singles” (10″ vinyl box set)
Pink Floyd – “The Wall” (7″ vinyl box set)
Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” (red double vinyl)
Soundgarden – “Live On I-5 – Before The Doors Soundcheck” (10″ colored vinyl)

Meanwhile, Roadrunner Records is readying a vinyl box set for Type O Negative. The collection will feature updated liner notes, a sticker sheet and the following albums each pressed on double green vinyl:
