Dance Gavin Dance’s Jonny Craig Lands In Jail On Drug Charges
Dance Gavin Dance frontman Jonny Craig has apparently been booked into Solano County Jail in California. The booking logs include charges for possession of narcotics, paraphernalia and failure to appear.
A screenshot of Craig‘s booking log entry can be found below. The news follows Dance Gavin Dance‘s cancellation of their touring plans. Craig has had a long history of drug abuse and was in detox earlier this year following a failed stint as an Apple salesman.

Not all DGD shit is bad. There is some good material. The Backwards Pumkin Song for instance is amazing. I really feel bad for the rest DGD that have to deal with this shithead. I hope Jonny Craig gets gang raped by a bunch of puerto ricans
Maybe he’s not a total piece of shit. Hopefully he just needs help and he can get it. I don’t know the dude’s history, but regardless of all his rehab stints and shit, if he’s a first-time offender, any public defender can get him probation with another 45 days or so in a program. Or maybe his county has a drug court program. Who knows? Fact of the matter is you can throw a person in court mandated rehab as many times as you want, but no one will EVER get clean until they’re ready. As I said before, this band is a disgusting fucking scene atrocity, but I have a soft spot for fuck-ups like this. Hopefully this is his rock bottom.

Its the Lindsay Lohan of “metal.” Addiction is definitely a big deal, but in the end, this guy is going to keep getting bailed out as long as DGD keeps selling records and shirts. He’s definitely going to get messed up if he goes into lockup. Maybe on that first night, when there’s no 13 year old girls clammoring around him, he’ll realize, he fucked up.
