The Dillinger Escape Plan Frontman Teases Shit Yeah! EP
Sadly it would appear that The Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato was likely joking in his recent tweets about the bands HELLYEAH parody, Shit Yeah!. Speaking through Twitter on that last night, he offered:
“Hey any of you dorks been around long enough to remember that amazing underground band “Shit Yeah!”? What ever happened to them?”
He even later ‘threatened‘ to release the groups rumored “Hunt The Cougar” EP. Unfortunately it is more likely we’ll have to settle for the real thing as HELLYEAH are currently preparing another embarrassment for metal new album.

Yea. Greg kinda needs shut the fuck up. Seems like the only thing even keeping this band somewhat relevant these days, Is him taking jabs at the most OBVIOUSLY lame shit he can. I appreciate the gesture, I suppose, But it’s making him come off like a guy in a band nobody really cares about…Touché.
Look here, keep the hate focused. You dudes are letting it wander aimlessly back in the direction of Greg Puciato, when the shit talking obviously needs to go to Hellyeah. Breaks my heart, man. Nothingface was one of my favorite bands ever, and Tom Maxwell’s riffs in their shit were so awesome. Now it’s like it’s all gone… breaks my fuckin’ heart.
When it was announced that Nothingface had resurfaced with Chris Houck to produce another album, it gave me a high similar to cocaine. Then, when they released “One Thousand Lies”, I might have ruined a pair of pants…
…Then they broke up again and it was sadness and dark days all over again. The fact that Tom Maxwell is in HELLYEAH just tells me that he needed some cash. Some of his other side projects were decent though (i.e., Knives Out! with Todd Smith from DFD or even Blessed In Black).
I can only dream of another band like Nothingface surfacing in the music world again.
BIB was actually pretty cool… the only thing I really liked about Skrape was the vox anyway, so that worked for me. I was psyched about Hellyeah when it was still called Cold White Christ and I’d never heard it. Honestly, the biggest problem with this band is Vinnie. Sure, he’s a legend and a hell of a drummer, but the fact that he’s from Texas has dudes from fucking Maryland and Illinois doing their best cowboy impressions and it’s just fuckin’ gross.

don’t we all mostly shit talk bands on here? I mean i’ve got the select few bands that i find to be amazing, but part of the fun of the genre bending no talent bands out there is making fun of them, besides how would shitty bands know they’re being naughty if we the listeners didn’t verbally spank them. Bottom line greg’s jokes are not funny, randy blythe’s blogs are pointless and quite the sad attempt at attention, fred durst’s show will get cancelled, koRn is just to easy of a target so ill lay off, hellyeah can’t even be real while led by a man that was at one time an “evil clown” an “alien” and now a “redneck” while all remain great horror movie charecters their place as a form of identity are fucking retarded, and the fact that by the end of this year we will have had new releases from: evanescence, cold, limp bizkit, and koRn is the 3rd sign of the appocalypse, buy the new machine head and shut the fuck up you vaginal warts……..
I never really listened to HellYeahs material and I probably wont now.
