Hole Pull Out Of “Soundwave Festival” As A Result Of Limp Bizkit’s Higher Billing
Limp Bizkit‘s high billing on the upcoming “Soundwave Festival” down under has caused some controversy for the tour. Hole frontwoman Courtney Love has apparently pulled her band out of the festival after finding out that Bizkit would have a higher billing than her band.

Hahaha this is golden.This bitch should be gratefull someone somewhere still thought she was relevant enough to put on the bill in the first place. The Big Day Out can have both these fuckers if they want them. Neither will/would be missed. But really, i don’t know one Hole song, not fucking one, at least i’ve heard the odd Limp Bizkit tune.

When you play a festival, are you “opening” for bands higher up on the bill? I’ve never seen it that way. Hole fans who hate Limp Bizkit are just going to go do something else during LB’s set, so there’s really no problem. But the publicity pulling out will bring her is probably more than playing the set would bring.

Have u even seen the lineup for this festival? Kills anything we get here in the states! Its even better now that Hole dropped off. Plus u gotta have some shitty bands so u can watch good bands at the same time. I hate when I have to choose between 2 good bands playing at same time.

I’m at a loss here. On the one hand, I love that a band refused to take the stage before Limp Bizkit. On the other hand, that band is Hole,which is to say, Courtney Love and whoever the hell is actually willing to play alongside her these days.
Plus, it’s such a pain to shoot up in the bathroom of a long-haul flight.

I was at a festival in Nashville, TN in ……any way, It was my turn to go refill everyone’s waterbottles and on my way back I saw Hole do a cover of Paradise City. It was one of those “planets aligned” moments, and I believe I was stopped to bear witness to the best thing Hole ever did. So, I guess thank you for that Courtney. And, indirectly, the Probot album.
