Clutch’s Neil Fallon Reveals The Five Albums That ‘Changed His Life’

Clutch frontman/guitarist Neil Fallon has revealed the five albums that ‘changed his life’ to Noisecreep. You can find the full list at the aforementioned link and sleep easy knowing that Kyuss‘ “Welcome To Sky Valley” is on it.

  • Stereotypical Evil Archer

I’m more of a Blues For the Red Sun kind of a guy, but anyone who has a Kyuss album in their top five deserves respect.

    • Aggroculture

I agree. I also don’t get what people see in Dark Side of the Moon: to me it’s very bland background music.

      • They Ate Their Macaroons in Silence

I love “Dark Side..” but I think the dopest Floyd albums are “Animals” & “Wish You Were Here”.

  • wearesorta138

That is a good collection of headphone records. Though yeah, Blues for the Red Sun all the way. 800 into Writhe is always bitchin’.

Kyuss aside, a bunch of crap is what this list is. No wonder Clutch sucks.

    • shnk666

Yeah, fuck Clutch! They were good 20 years ago before they embraced they backward-hillbilly-dumbfuck roots! …bunch of bearded-lumberjack lookin fat-asses!

    • Weird_White_Dude

Yea. Bad Brains and Tom Waits are “a bunch of crap”.

      Get real, BRO.

  • Geor!

    …And the Circus Leaves Town

  • Geor!

Also Rain Dogs, Swordfishtrombones, Frank’s Wild Years and Small Change would have placed ahead of Bone Machine for me.

Animals or Meddle would have beaten out Dark Side of the Moon.

  • Weird_White_Dude

BAD BRAINS!!! Nice. That’s probably my favorite record of all time.

  • HoodooOperator

Clutch owns and Neil Fallon is a fucking beast. That’s how that story is going to end every time.
