The Deftones were joined onstage by Children Of Bodom frontman/guitarist Alexi Laiho in Helsinki, Finland yesterday, August 30th. Laiho joined the band for a performance of the track “Root” with fan-filmed footage of the pairing available below:

Nice to see Deftones just throwin’ everything on the table at their shows, not just what they think everyone wants.
Though, it seems they don’t play that much from Saturday Night Wrist, when I saw them last year they only played Hole In the Earth. We didn’t receive a filthy handjob @ truckstop restroom or anything.
Would be sweet to hear them do their track “Nightboat” sometime. I wondered why that wasn’t on their “B-Sides and Rarities” album.

Whats hilarious is Alexi fucks up the riff in the beginning, he keeps playing the riff while the band is onto the next part of the song prior to the first verse…the squeeeeeels are awesome!
