Slipknot To Tour The U.S. By June 2012
Slipknot will embark on a U.S. tour by next June according to percussionist M. Shawn Crahan (aka Clown). Speaking via Facebook, he posted the following:
“I also wanted to tell everyone straight from my mouth because you may have heard it already anyway, but Slipknot will be touring by next June in America only, but that does not mean things will not change and as they do I will along with others tell you our family first.
No album yet because it is to soon and there are no songs yet because the band needs to come together to write this next one. I can not wait to feel the ideas like choking on color. Everything happens for a reason, so be ready.”

i’m not surprised that someone in a band as mediocre as slipknot has the grammar, punctuation, and syntax abilities of a twelve year old. dear slipknot, you’re not relevant anymore and your fans all grew up. stop. especially you, corey taylor. your new shit sucks even harder than slipknot.
Thanks for the input, johnthor… You might have a career in proofreading text books in the future : )
Any word on a replacement or fill-in bass player or are they just gonna hide some random guy behind cabinets like Korn did the first few tours without Head?
Also, Love Slipknot, But the more things Corey does outside of Slipknot, I.E. That dumb spongebob thing, the harder time I have taking him (and to an extent, them) seriously.
@whitey- They got the original guitar player (like pre Jim Root) standing back by Jordison on side stage (you can’t see him)… I haven’t really cared for them since IOWA (which came out 10 years ago yesterday) but they still kill MOST bands live… Coreys shit is not my thing either…
Agreed. “Iowa” was the last record I totally LOVED from front to back by them. Every album since that has had it’s gems but yea, In my opinion, they haven’t made a classic since “Iowa”.
Agreed with scorpion king and totally normal white dude. They still entertain live
Just like all the other mega-popular acts of this bygone era, there’s at least as many haters as fans, but I’m willing to bet at least 20% of the people who can’t shut up about how Slipknot sucks would still pay to see the circus that is their live show. Not a lot of other bands you can say that about. Admittedly, though, things have calmed down a bit since the days they were puking on each other and shitting in jars on stage.
