    • I’m so taken by the excellence of this band that I am willing to watch them do the most mundane things over and over again.

Shot one: Chino zips up jacket
Shot Two: Abe eats a banana
Shot Three: Sergio shakes head at some unknown circumstance.

I’m waiting for them to bust out a Quicksand cover now that Sergio is in their band. I saw them cover “Fazer” in like 98-99 at the Worcester Palladium. Oddly enough, They also covered “Right Brigade” by Bad Brains that night too. Talk about a complete nexus of 3 of my favorite bands ever. Awesome.

I haven’t been there in a few years, As I live on the West Coast now but that’s what I’ve heard. Such a shame. I grew up going to shows there. Saw more Metal & Hardcore fest’s and just crazy shit in general there than I even care to remember.

I saw Jamey Jasta smash the singer of Anal Cunt to a bloody pulp with the microphone right on stage in the upstairs. Then a (1 of a few I saw there) full blown mini riot broke out into the streets outside of Palladium that ended with the cops macing tons of people and arresting a few. Too crazy.

Another time I saw The Rev. Steve Austin from Today Is The Day bust some drunk hecklers face wide open with the head of his guitar, Then he shoved the kids face, Getting his blood all over his hand, Then rubbing it in his own face and proceeding to play the rest of the set with someone else’s blood all over his face. This was “In The Eyes Of God” era Today Is The Day too, When Braun and Bill from Mastodon were still in the band. Such a good show. Brutal Truth played it too.

Sorry. That turned into a reminiscing rant. That’s why I shouldn’t smoke pot in the morning. Haha.

          COOL STORY, BRO!!!

        • yea they have all these “rules” now, you can’t go outside to have a fucking cigarette, you can ‘t fucking film anything, never mind a little hand held camera if you hold your fucking CELL PHONE up to long they approach you with a warning , no filming only pictures. fucking cell phones are you kidding me? yet i can walk into lupos, house of blues (formerly avalon/axis) paradise, the met, harpers ferry, agannis.. pretty much everywhere else with my camera in hand, film the whole show with out one word being said to me. and i don’t know who’s working the sound board these days but it’s fucking awful. and to top it off the best part of the venue was the parking lot across the street, that went up hill behind a bunch of tress where you could pre game before the $6 beers and NO ONE ever bothered you, now they direct you where to park and have staff in there. hopefully irene knocked that fucker down. sorry if my rant wasn’t as cool.
