The Human Abstract Part Ways With Vocalist, Touring Replacement Announced
The Human Abstract have officially parted ways with their vocalist Travis Richter. For now, Ryan Devlin of Corelia has been brought onboard as a “touring vocalist”, which seems to imply his position isn’t entirely permanent yet until things are given a chance on the road.
The band themselves have since confirmed the initial reports on Richter‘s departure. You can hear some of Devlin‘s vocals in Corelia alongside Periphery‘s Spencer Sotelo below:

That was fast… I thought the generally consensus was that people liked the new guy?
Hm.
Really liked him. The put on a great set the last time I saw them out. They have always been about the musicianship but it would be nice to see them settle in with a decent vocalist

Say again?
Was never really a fan of him. But I’m happy for Ryan, such a good singer and this is a big opportunity for him.
New guy sounds serviceable.
Yeah, this guy’ll work.
I heard that the From First To Last guy quit because he couldn’t trust his sketchy ass GF while he was out on tour.
Who knows if it’s true but if it is, He’s a dummy. He was a good match for them. New guy sounds more than qualified to take over tho.
