at face value i dig these guys, but they sort of remind me of ‘die trying’. not the song by art od dying but the band ‘die trying’. jacoby shaddixs pet project from way back.
I’m getting real sick of how younger bands like this are sending the message to kids that you have to get your hands tattooed, massive hoops in your ears and dumb tank tops from the mall to be cool and like rock music.
I’m sorry; If someone is dumb enough to be influenced by a bands appearance, let them! There are a lot of really great bands nowadays that don’t try to “look the part” BTW those “hoops” stink like a pile of vomit.
pile of vomit is an understatement. sitting next to my friend with plugs, i noticed the distinct odor of a sweaty old womans pussy. i made mention of it and then he let me smell his plugs. then we decided to sit at a different table at the bingo hall….
Meh, style is style. Those stupid hoops are the neon of the late 80s, and the pump-up shoes of the 90s.
Personally, I’d never get those hoops ‘cuz on the off chance I get into a fight, I’m fucked.
well maybe the problem is technique. i’d say punch with your fists not just swing your giant ear plates.
It all comes down to the reason. I get tattoos as memories of times in my life. My wife has had 2 inch guages for the 8 years I’ve known her because it’s part of her Native American heritage. Just getting random bullshit tattoos because you’ll fit in is a joke. But then again, maybe bitchin’ hand tattoos make it easier to play a generic breakdown.
I enjoy this much better than the album version, I agree I remember when nu-metal was at it’s peak there wasn’t really much of a look, except for baggy clothes and just giving everyone the finger, and maybe the odd backwards baseball cap.
