COMMENTS
Like last year, I see a distinct lack of thrash on this tour.
White arms of athena are too good to be on this bill
Whole lotta meh.
Who buys Winds of Plague records, seriously they are like a poor man’s Stick To Your Guns, and that is saying something, since STYG are mediocre at best.
this should be called the “stay at home and thrash your wiener tour.” with such tough economic times now & ahead, wasting money on this shit (no matter how 100% pure shit it may be) is truly wasteful.
ps. wook, thanks for the spell check feature!
what an amazing lineup of distinct bands that are leading the way in the thrash metal revival im sure their 80′s thrash iconic forefathers would be proud (now that i got that sarcasm outta the way i feel better, just had to comment on this waste of time) bring back arrested development for another season!!!!!!!
now that’s news!!!!!
I signed up just to leave this comment. I shall give you an actually GOOD thrash metal tour right now.
Overkill
Destruction
Tankard (even though the will probably NEVER tour the states)
Destroyer 666 (not technically 100% thrash, but they still slay)
Witchaven (if you don’t know who these guys are there is a void in your life waiting to be filled)
Warbringer
Bonded By Blood
If they hadn’t have recently broken up i would have thrown Mantic Ritual on there, but bands wither and die sometimes and it sucks donkey balls.
but regardless, above is an example of a TRUE thrash metal tour. Its way to awesome to ever actually happen but one can dream. Until they really need to stop creating tours called things like “Thrash and Burn” when there are NO thrash bands on the bill.
