Mastodon Release “Curl Of The Burl” ‘Found Footage’ Video
Mastodon have released a “found footage” music video for their new song “Curl Of The Burl” online below. The clip was directed by Aaron Hymes. The song itself was released as a digital single today, August 16th, while the bands new album “The Hunter” is due out on September 27th.

The power of the octave pedal……… This is a lot better than I expected. Think of this song as a slowed/rock version of ‘Iron Tusk’, hear it in the riff?

I loved their first three albums. I don’t really care for the watered down version of themselves. Bring back the great riffs and crazy drumming. I guess I will just go listen to my Lethargy albums.

Much as I prefer more of their earlier work its nice to see a band evolve in such a way, Mastodon has yet to record an album less than great in my mind. Can’t effen wait to get my copy!
