City Of Fire To Begin Recording New Album Next Month
City Of Fire‘s (Fear Factory, etc.) recent fundraising was a success as the band will enter the studio next month to begin recording their next album. A single and video will follow in October with the full-length expected to see an international release in early 2012.

Not sure how I feel about that PledgeMusic fundraising thing… especially for a group of this stature – by no means huge, but definitely a struggling li’l group.
I guess nobody’s forcing anybody to give ‘em money… they get payed to play (at concerts), why not get paid to make the music in the first place?… Kind of whore-ish? Or is this a new era of fans truly becoming “patrons” of their favourite groups? Hmm. HMMMMMMMM.
