Disturbed Scrap “Warrior” Music Video, Singer Confirms Upcoming “Indefinite Hiatus”

Disturbed have scrapped their plans to release their music video for their track “Warrior“. The group were apparently unhappy with the end result of the clip, with band frontman David Draiman remarking to a fan on Twitter that “it came out shitty, so, were not putting it out.” The band originally filmed the “Warrior” clip early this year with director Chris Marrs Piliero (The Black Keys, D.R.U.G.S.).

In related news, Draiman has also confirmed that Disturbed will be going on an “indefinite hiatus” following the completion of their “Asylum” touring commitments.

Good, because they are the worst band ever and only rednecks like them and I would much rather prefer there be more Coldplay on the radio because only homosexuals like this. Come visit me at Wendy’s, please.

“it came out shitty, so, were not putting it out.” If only he would have realized this when they started making music 11 years ago.

    • Back in the day, I thoroughly enjoyed their first album. I am however going to see them August 6th at DTE (Clarkston, MI) mainly because Unearth, All Shall Parish, Machine Head, In Flames and Trivium. It’d be pretty cool to see a fight break out between members during their set though, I will hope for that.

    • adamonfire’s a douche. The sad thing is that you don’t even realize it. One day somebody will take the initiative and knock your goofy ass out. You’ll see. Come here to Jersey. It’ll happen sooner. You can take that college degree and stick it up your cooloo dude. It don’t mean shit nowadays and that’s a fact and you know it. Plenty of people have college degrees and don’t have a job OR they’re overqualified for their current position. Doesn’t make you god cus your parents paid for your education, ya dork.

And I’ll be at DTE as well – saw them at Rock on the Range in 2008 and they weren’t good, saw them against this past fall and they were much improved. It would be nice to see something Oasis-like.

    • Jesus christ that was a fast response…you live on this site? See, point in case. Oh I feel ya bro. I don’t talk like that, cool guy. The total opposite end of the spectrum of the Jersey Shore characters. You’re a pussy. Flat out pussy. I was in the military dude. You wouldn’t say dick. I guarantee it. Unless you have military training you don’t stand a chance. Douche.

haha @bitteroldman I agree…this “band” should never started making “music” in the first place. Fucking atrocious plus Dave Dramain is a pretentious prick asshole that thinks he’s actually well respected in the music industry…people that like Disturbed have no right saying they are metalheads in any way. They are not cool, not heavy, they make lyrical garbage and if there was a band that I would put on a plane to crash into a mountain, this would be one of about five I can name…

Fuck your military background. All that means is that you’re fucked-up in the head and didn’t have the capabilities to go to community college. When all you have to live for is cigarettes and a girl back home that fucking some dude behind your back I guess you learn to be tough on the Internets, huh?

Wow, that’s a real shame this band was unhappy about the way their latest video turned out. Sometimes a bands vision isn’t always realized by a creative with their own subjective viewpoints.

Wow, all the best for this band and their future projects. Sounds like a lot of fans will be pretty disappointed that they can’t get down with the sickness anymore. No doubt this guy will begin a super-successful solo career touring with..now I’m coming across as sarcastic. I tried Kent!

I like your style, Surly. To be honest, I stopped ‘really’ following the band after the 3rd or 4th album, I felt they never got back to the sound I LOVED on their debut. But then again, a few songs of theirs I’ve heard since then have been pretty good, that Genesis cover for example. So the news is a little sad, but maybe some time off will help them get back that passion and fury that was oh so appealing.

    • You’re a good man Kent. I’ve always liked the cut of your jib. I’m sure I’d enjoy a glass of vin rouge with you and a slice of salami on a lightly toasted piece of rye.

I’ve always found his voice to be forced and affected, I dunno. They always sounded a bit too glossy for me.
@stuckpig – Tread carefully, man, you’re coming a bit douchey yourself with your hilarious commentary… pot, kettle… and, uh, it’s “case in point”. :)

what a shame, they never got a chance to put out an epic cover album, and now draiman is never going to do a Down with the Sickness duet with Christina Scabbia. just when i thought they were going to surpass Korn in greatness.
