Very underwhelming track. As usual, Mastodon have a lot of talent, but little clue what to do with it. Another collection of riffs without a song. Love the basslines though, very Meshuggah-esque.

Is it me or does the song sound a little more accessible to the masses (mostly the distinguishable lyrics/clean singing), which dare I say may be a good move for Mastodon?

    • Well HBB, ‘whinger’ is dervied from ‘whinge’-
      -
      whinge/(h)winj/
Verb: Complain persistently and in a peevish or irritating way.
Noun: An act of complaining in such a way
      -
So, therefore a person can be classified a ‘whinger’.

      -
A typical comment would be, “Go have a cry somewhere else, you whinger.”
