Three concept albums in a row would have been too much. How many stories about dead monks and whales can you pull off without it getting old? This album is gonna be one heavy ass jam session, I can feel it.
More like four in a row: Leviathan, Blood Mountain, and Crack the Skye are all concept albums (although Blood Mountain is only loosely one). Anyways, I’m quite looking forward to this. I can already tell by the lyrics that I’m gonna love Blasteroids, lol.
that’s how loose Blood Mountain is, I completely forgot it was a concept album.
How is Blood Mountain a loose concept album in any way? It tells more of a focused story than Leviathan – if any of their albums is loosely conceptual, it’s Leviathan.
