Stone Sour Covers EP & Live DVD In The Works
According to a recent interview conducted with band frontman Corey Taylor by HardDrive Radio; Stone Sour are working on a new covers EP/live DVD which they hope to have out by the years end. The DVD will feature a live concert which the band filmed last year in England, while the covers EP will feature songs chosen by each member of the band. More official details on the release are expected in the coming weeks.
In other news, Taylor apparently hinted at the possibility of some U.S. shows with his other band Slipknot as well. Taylor, who has been doing a flurry of press for his recently released book “Seven Deadly Sins: Settling The Argument Between Born Bad And Damaged Good“, has booked the following two Las Vegas solo shows:

wook whats up with the old news in the top headlines lately?
The counter for top headlines views resets at midnight every night. What then happens is google usually gets a few hits to an older story that has good search seo overnight when traffic isn’t more regular.
Being that the days stats are still building and people see it in the top headlines and click on it, it becomes more popular than it should.
Unfortunately the software is somewhat limited in regards to disqualifying posts by date range.
An annoyance, to be sure. -but one that I can generally fix by changing it to the past few days instead of just the most clicked on stories of the day in question.
Thus I bounce around back and forth with it when things go out of wack.
I may just wind up showing the post date and leaving it for a true representation of the day’s top headlines, but I still need to tweak the styling a bit.
