Life Of Agony Perform In Germany, Footage Available
Life Of Agony played the first of what are rumored to be their final series of shows in Germany last night (July 16th.) Not only are the shows unique for that alone, but also because they find band frontman Keith Caputo fully embracing his (pre-op) transexual nature. You can find initial fan-filmed footage from the set below.
Meanwhile, Caputo has once again taken to his Twitter to address both the recent support (and criticisms) leveled at him for his lifestyle choice, offering:
“YES I’m Transexual & PROUD.Clearly I’m not ashamed.I deeply thank all who have shown me much support in the recent days ESP on Twitter.”

COMMENTS
Good for him. I can only imagine the shithead comments he probably gets from the crowd.
They haven’t made a memorable album since Ugly but it’s still a shame they’re calling it quits. I never had the chance to see them live and I would have liked to. On another note, if Caputo has no intentions of chopping off his unit, wouldn’t that just make him a crossdresser rather than a transsexual?
I think he has plans to, probably aftet the shows. I assume all the shit you have to go through would probably reek havoc on your voice.
If Caputo intends on having a full gender reassignment, there’s several months of hormone therapy and whatnot that needs to happen first, otherwise the body wont take to the surgery as well. I’m not a fan of the band, but I still think it’s pretty sure for Caputo to be so out in the open with this – it can’t be an easy thing to make public at all, much less to a metal crowd.
FAG
Your physical makeup is not what determines whether you’re a boy or girl. I’m sure Caputo would say she has always been a girl.
Leave to at least one idiot to call him/her a fag. Got to love the metal crowd.
I just don’t know where to go with this. I mean I could care less about his choice to become a woman but he had a great voice that hormones will probably ruin…I ‘ve seen them many times and usually to a less than full house even when they were the headliners, which about sums up my feelings on them. I could take them or leave them even when they had so much potential. Doesn’t surprise me though, when I saw them headline for G/Z/R he wore a Cookie Monster costume for the entire show.
More like Life of Fagony (smashes beer can on head). I’m amazed that in 2011 we still have people that are so close-minded. Good for Keith. It takes a lot of courage to do what he’s doing. Hopefully he’ll find happiness.
