Rex Brown Confirms His Depature From Down
Bassist Rex Brown has officially confirmed his long rumored departure from Down. Speaking in an interview with 8countnews.com, Brown confirmed his departure, saying that “things came to a head” and that he “kind of lost his passion.” Pat Bruders of Crowbar has since been tapped to replace Brown for the time being.
While Brown has moved on with Kill Devil Hill, an outfit which features former Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice and Mark Zavon of Ratt, W.A.S.P., etc. fame.

Down sorta sucked after Nola, and Rex should be carrying much better music then the as of late, bland/stale riffs that dominate the majority of the songs.
So what Rex is meaning to say is that he’s just getting to old.
