It doesn’t get more hardcore than the First Unitarian Church. Why is H2O not headlining their date?

  • southpawchew

awe how cute like all hardcore things inlife it starts at church. i hope winger jams there too!

  • http://twitter.com/jayofdajungle jayofdajungle

@adamonfire I hope that’s not sarcasm, The First Unitarian Church is a Philly hardcore landmark

First Unitarian Church is an awesome place for shows. I may go and sell merch for Morning Again.

  • http://www.facebook.com/built.to.grind American_Natemare

And H2O isn’t headlining because Youth Of Today is reuniting and are a much more important band than H2O.

  • adamonfire

    ^ Incorrect

  • tenwestchaser

@adomonfire, historically speaking he’s absolutely correct. Not only were they around way before H2O, they have an entire movement named after them. This isn’t a matter of opinion as to which band either of you enjoy more. Concerning the history of hardcore, Youth of Today IS a much more important band than H20.

  • http://www.facebook.com/built.to.grind American_Natemare

I’m pretty sure H2O wouldn’t exsist without Youth Of Today.

I’m also pretty sure that arguing what is and what isn’t hardcore on the internet, is about the least hardcore thing there is. Just sayin………….

Adam I’m a big fan of H2O and Youth of today, Yes Youth of today should be headling no doubt.
Also I got the dvd with Coalesce they taped a entire show at the First Unitarian Church place looks awesome for a show.
damn wished i lived on the east coast several of these bands i would love to see on this.

  • will

a lot of tight bands playing this

  • http://twitter.com/jayofdajungle jayofdajungle

@element I’m pretty sure no one is arguing what is or is not hardcore. We are just explaining to the ignorant why Youth of Today is a more important band than H20. Prententious ass

  • http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/profile.php?id=723045860&v=wall&story_fbid=1327373301088 Element

    Pot. Kettle. Black.

  • tenwestchaser

    @jayofdajungle….Exactly.

@Element….Clearly, nobody questioned the genre either band plays. If you can’t tell the difference between a discussion about a bands influential power versus an arguement about who is hardcore than ya should probably just sit the next one out. Just sayin….

  • http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/profile.php?id=723045860&v=wall&story_fbid=1327373301088 Element

LOL I was listening to Youth Of Today records while you were in diapers.

  • http://www.facebook.com/built.to.grind American_Natemare

Let’s all just agree thay Element is the most hardcore so we can get on to more impotant stuff like when did Strife get back together? Last time I saw them was when they were doing the non-straight edge thing and the Louisville Sluggers (KY Courage Crew for those who don’t know) showed up and wouldn’t let anyone dance. It was fucked up.

  • http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/profile.php?id=723045860&v=wall&story_fbid=1327373301088 Element

I would love a full on Strife reunion tour. Earth Crisis did it, and sound better than ever.

  • tenwestchaser

So wait. You completely misconstrue a conversation and tell us how “arguing what is and what isn’t hardcore on the internet, is about the least hardcore thing there is,” I completely call you out for not paying much attention to what we were actually saying and your final reply is……you telling me how much more hardcore you are than me/us? Man, you’re unbelievable.

  • http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/profile.php?id=723045860&v=wall&story_fbid=1327373301088 Element

I never once said, “Im more hardcore than ______”. I was mostly having a laugh at how old I am. Lighten up.

  • Weird_White_Dude

And you thought there was gonna be a lot of wiggers at The All Stars Tour…

  • http://twitter.com/jayofdajungle jayofdajungle

I’ve picked up so much change in my 30 years that I could put my kid through college, I’ll be here all night

  • will

Stimpy (tenwestchaser) dude. Element is just fucking around. We all circle pit if given the chance. let us giggle and not fight.

  • will

oh yeah! what up Jay… Natemare… etc. the “hardcore” news brings all the “players” whose comments I love to read.

  • Vujaa De

for the record, “LOL” isn’t hardcore… its barely emo.

  • will

@ Vujaa De. it that a dude’s ass in your pic? if so, cool. kinda :/

  • Vujaa De

oh will, that’s not just any dudes ass. that’s ozzy with his finger in his ass.

  • Vujaa De

the avatar program cut the top off when i uploaded it so you cant see his arm reaching around, and i’m to lazy to fix it, spent enough time looking for the picture.

  • Vujaa De

    is my pic hardcore?

  • HonoluluBlueBalls

I like to eat burgers and smoke nugs when I listen to Youth of Today.
