I’m not a big fan of theirs, but it’s awesome that they played so many songs. I wish more bands had extensive setlists like that.

I would pay an insurmountable amount of money to see Deftones play a 30 song set-list. I’d take out a loan, pay fucking payments, whatever. This is a System of a Down fan’s fucking wet dream.

Keep in mind you can fit around 26.666 3 minute songs on an 80 min CDR. Nice to see Suggestions on there… Metro &/or Marmalade would’ve been dope

    • Yeah a lot of SOAD songs are fairly short, especially the stuff from Hypnotize/Mesmerize. I’ve been a fan of this band since s/t, which they still haven’t improved on in my opinion, but I’ve never seen this band live. From the far away grainy footage I’m seeing here, they don’t seem too exciting. Sound pretty good though. Thoughts?

Not a huge SOAD fan but props to them for giving their fans their money’s worth. Massive set-list. And I totally agree w/ the Deftones comment.

    • I saw SOAD in 2005(?) Fall tour with Hella and the Mars volta. They played a similar set to this, 20 of the same songs(I looked it up). The mars Voltas’s mix was great, which allowed for a all out bananas big venue show: I wasn’t expecting that.

SOAD we’re boring, it’s pretty clear on those videos. In BYOB, Darren played a syncopated ska riff over the chorus, I’m all about changing shit up, but it was so hollow with no meat behind it. Everybody else though they were amazing,

Serj half ass’s his through the show way more than I’d like to see as well. I still love their s/t album and Steal This Album, Mezmorize was fun too,

    • I got into SOAD about two years before their second album, and, man, I used to think they were the world’s most dangerous band. Fast forward 7 years later, I saw then on MTV2 playing a new version of Sugar that sounded like Bavarian polka music.
