Ex-The Mars Volta Drummer Tapped For Max Cavalera/Greg Puciato Side Project
According to a recent interview with The Dillinger Escape Plan‘s Greg Puciato, former The Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch has been tapped to handle the drums for Puciato‘s upcoming side project with Max Cavalera.

I just hope Max can branch out and make something that sounds different from Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy, that would be cool.

I’m really looking forward to hearing this. It looks as if some different styles are going to collide here and I don’t really think Max can follow his old formula even if he wanted to. Lets see how much creative juice the old man has left in the tank.
