    • Too heavy to be the next Linkin Park; wrong color of baseball cap to be the next Limp Bizkit. They’ll always have a place on the next Ozzfest tour though.

i think you all are real quick to judge this evolution of hardcore, since i back tracked and watched ever metal genre, every hardcore genre, punk genre, etc…. I mean really just face it, you may not agree with the rap/hardcore mix but some of us do enjoy it. nu-metal went to limp, Christian rock has p.o.d, etc… It was gonna happen, at least give them respect for going out there and trying something new.

These clowns must be hoping that Gold Cobra is gonna bring rap/rock back from the dead or something. They want to make sure they are right on the spearhead. Less news about this, and more about Meshuggah please. I want news to make me feel good, not bad.

    • this is ridiculous, too bad that E.Town Concrete have disbanded a couple of years ago, they would’ve shown these cats how it’s done right.

I know most breakdowns aren’t original. But, that breakdown at the end is the exact damn one that A Day To Remember plays on “Mr. Highway’s Thinking About The End”. Never seen a bigger rip off than that, I mean, damn.

And props to the dudes talking about (hed) p.e. That’s legit rap rock right there, and their first three CDs (church of realities, s/t, broke) are fucking awesome. I still like them even though my tastes for all other rap rock groups have changed.

    • @nate I got into them in 97 with Beyond Reasonable Doubt, The Process of Self-Development was what made me LOVE them. 300% turned some fans off when it came out due to Carly softening his growl in some songs, but It’s my 2nd favorite. What Doesn’t Kill You was them trying to go mainstream, which didn’t work. Kiss The Lie is actually really good in a if this was any other band I’d love it way. Supposedly they are working on new stuff, cautiously optimistic…
