The Faceless Confirm New Bassist
The Faceless have added bassist Evan Brewer of Animosity/Reflux fame to their lineup. The band announced his addition with the following statement:
“The sickest bass player in the game, Evan Brewer (Animosity/Reflux) has officially joined The Faceless. See his videos on YouTube if you havent already.
Rumor has it his solo album will be coming out on Sumerian Records too.”

Reflux’s music was phenomenal…it’s just that they were stuck in that metalcore genre box, and they weren’t able to expand out of it. Once they were finished, they were able to do what they wanted (still no clue why Brewer would ever join Animosity, but whatevs – The Faceless is way more suiting to his talents).

Haha Fieldy! My old band opened for Reflux back in the day and we hung out with this cat for the couple hours we had before the show. He was warming up with our bassist who was practically drooling. What a talented and cool guy. It really is a shame Reflux isn’t together anymore. Guess I’m gonna have to start listening to The Facless. By the way, as far as his in fluences, I believe he told us that he studied with Victor Wooten’s brother. If you don’t know who that is, stop listening to bro-core.
