Giants To Release Debut EP On Vinyl In June
Giants will be physically issuing a re-recorded version of their debut EP as a limited edition 7″ on June 14th through The Mylene Sheath. Currently the effort is available through various digital retailers, while the band are working on new material for their third full-length offering which should surface in early 2012.

How do new bands get added to the PRP newsfeed? Whenever I see an article about a debut release, I just figure it’s some new side project or superband. But with stuff like this, I have no idea what it is. Haven’t heard of the record label either. Maybe I’m just out of the loop.
I’m continually making dumber comments on this site. Of course, minutes after posting, I googled the band and realize this story is about an EP released six years ago. Guess I am out of the loop!

You simply have to sign a deal with Victory Records.
Giants are an incredible post-rock band in the same vein as Russian Circles & Red Sparowes. They haven’t put anything out in a couple years, and haven’t been touring either, which is why you probably haven’t seen their name on here. Unlike Victory & Sumerian bands, they don’t feel the need to post ‘webisodes’ and album updates every 3 days.
