The lineup has been revealed for this years “Summer Slaughter Tour“, it can be found below:

Powerglove
Dates and venues for the tour are due to be announced on April 20th. Furthermore, an additional opening band will be added to the tour with a contest currently being held over at the tours Facebook to decide the winner. Candidates in the running for the trek include:

I won’t even lie, I’m beyond pumped to see SFU. I love that band. MURDERED IN THE BASEMENT!!!
One day Darkest Hour will be on a tour worth seeing. I mean, if we’re playing the odds its gotta be happening soon, right?
I’d go if dawn of ashes played.
Can’t say non are my favorite bands or anything but definitely a solid line-up. I will certainly be in attendance and of course buy merch. cause if not, the rebecca black’s of the world will take over.

I would watch The Black Dahlia Murder,Six Feet Under, Dying Fetus just because they are who they are. Revocation are cool.
Dying Fetus and Darkest Hour is about it. As much as I love Chris Barnes era Cannibal Corpse, SFU is god awful.
Wow Summer slaughter really sucks this year only band I would want to see that is Dying Fetus. WTF is powerglove is doing on this fuck me. Yeah I don’t mind if SS skip Missouri like they have the last 2 years. We are getting Exhumed, Cephalic carnage, Origin and Troglodyte here which will be a way better bill.
Oh and, Darkest hour is the most overratted metal band of the last 10 years. I like At the gates much better.
darkest hour are rad. they are not over rated. they earn whatever shit they sell because they tour non stop. this line up is pretty good man. pretty damn good. i am voting for the contortionist non gay ass faceboook
Revocation better win that opening slot. And they deserve to play right before Dying Fetus. They are way better than all the other openers….no contest….and almost everyone else on the bill for that matter!
Way too much core in this lineup. If tickets don’t cost too much, I’d like to see Dying Fetus and Fleshgod Apocalypse.
I would go if they dropped Whitechapel, Darkest Hour, and Six Feet Under for Aeon, Miseration, and Abysmal Dawn.
Volumes is AMAZING. Go listen to Wormholes, seriously.
Seriously, whats with all the metal heads who bash on other metal heads. Metal is metal, core or not. I think this is an a awesome line up with good bands that earned where they are now. Not sure what powerglove is doing though. The contortionist or within the ruins better open
