    • Yep, i’m gonna say it, I love how people were trashing Limp Bizkit when they announced they were back together, then they came out with a single and people were actually blown away that it was good, so the bullshitting stopped, now Gold Cobra has become Chinese Democracy and people are talking shit again. lol. It’s quite funny how people are so trendy when it comes to music.

    • While i disagree with people bashing Limp Bizkit in general, because you can’t deny Wes Borland is one of the greatest guitar players of all time, yes ball of metal, lil wayne plus limp bizkit is going to be fail.

    • @Kydox — Wes Borland is one of the greatest guitar players of all time? Are you serious? He’s not completely untalented but he wouldn’t even make a top 1,000 list of best ever guitarists. And the fact that he swore to never return to LB only to do the very thing he spoke out against is downright shameful, a pathetic money grab because his other shitty projects didn’t make him any cash.

A “best guitarist of all time” wouldn’t be caught dead playing in a talentless, fraternity music band like Limp Bizkit. Nor would said guitarist have multiple failed projects. Sorry, you lose.

Lil Wayne is the second most over-hyped rapper behind Jay-Z. Tell me they’re working with Saul Williams or Atmosphere and I’ll be impressed.

I completely agree about Jay-Z. I can’t understand why he gets so much hype, and I’m a big fan of rap in general. Back to Lil Wayne : he’s terrible, has no flow, and uses autotune. Quite weird, since there is an anti-autotune song on Gold Cobra :/

I can’t agree on the Jay-Z thing. He’s one of the hardest working rappers that has ever been around. He has earned every dollar he has made. and while I am not a mainstream rap fan or his music, I have a lot of respect for him. His early stuff is what gives him the cred to get the respect he deserves. As for Lil Wayne, the guy has absolutely NO rap abilities, and shows us how dumb the mainstream music fan actually is. Atmosphere, maybe 10 years ago, around the Lucy Ford era stuff, since then they have release 1 decent album, and a the rest is all crap. Slug has lost his abilities to rap with the best of them.

After God Loves Ugly I really lost interest in anything else they released. So far there has been about 2-3 tracks from each album after, that I have actually enjoyed. I miss the organic sounding beats they used to have. They did release a EP last year that was good. I think it was called Leak At Will.

@American. I hear that. I like when MC’s do the band thing. Mainly when Sage Francis does, but he can make pretty much anything sound sick.
