Between The Buried And Me Sign With Metal Blade, New Effort Due In April

Between The Buried And Me‘s much rumored signing with Metal Blade has been made official with the groups new effort “The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues” set to see a release through the label on April 12th. Previously thought to only be an EP, the official press release on the bands signing refers to “The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues” as an album.

Speaking on their new deal, band guitarist Paul Waggoner offered the following:

“We are delighted in the opportunity to join the Metal Blade family. Their commitment to heavy music over the years is inspiring and we look forward to becoming a part of the ever-growing legacy of the label. Our new release, titled “The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues” will hit the streets in April. We are confident that our dedicated fans will appreciate it and hopeful that we will gain the attention of some new ears as well. In closing, I’d like to reference a quote from the illustrious Joe Dirt: “Life’s a garden, dig it.”

For now, the following teaser was made available for the effort:

As previously reported the bands former label Victory Records will be issuing a 2-CD/1-DVD best of entitled “The Best Of Between The Buried And Me” on March 29th.

    • April couldn’t be here soon enough…and I agree in that it’s totally awesome that they’re off Victory Records. They were always in left field in that stratosphere (and way better than the entire Victory lineup) This makes a whole lot of sense considering they’re good buds with The Red Chord. Awesome news.

That was a dog? Hopefully Metal Blade will kick some sense into these overly talented muthafuckas. Of course I’ll pick up the album anyway…damnit they got me by the balls!
