Soundgarden Working On New Album
Soundgarden have been working on new material as of late and have early plans to to make a new album this year. In a new posting titled “Our goal for 2011 – Let’s Make A Record” on the bands official website, they offered the following:
“Over the past few months, we’ve been busy jamming, writing and hanging out together – exploring the creative aspect of being Soundgarden. It feels great. We have some cool new songs that we are going to record very soon. Thank you for all of the support!

If it’s anything close to “Superunknown” i’ll be highly impressed! Either ways, about time these guys got back together to put out a new album =) More thought processes and creativity went into writing songs back in the grunge days. I miss it =/
This is wonderful, wonderful news. It will be quite interesting to see what Soundgarden comes up with after being away for so long. A lot of things have changed since “Down on the Upside.” Even if this record sucks (it won’t), at least they’ll (probably) get out and do some more extensive touring.
