Sounds awful.
oh my god, I thought it was gonna be a joint album between the two, like that Jay-Z/Linkin Park album…whew…
Puke.
people hate on mushroomhead. I like them. hed pe is all that is gay in “metal” they can fuck off. mushroomhead is a heavy live show. “distant headlights desolate highway”
Mushroomhead with the previous lead singer wasn’t….. terrible, but the new guy sucks big time. Garbage.
I’ve always liked Mushroomhead. They’ve always been a little different. And yeah, people hate on them, which makes me like them even more. Good fun stuff.
I’ve always been a big fan of Mushroomhead’s “XX”, but everything they did after that was pretty crappy IMO. “XIII” wasn’t THAT bad, but nowhere near where they should have been. And every album after that was really, really bad. Anyways, I’ve always wanted to see this band just from the XX days and it’s tempting, but it’s pretty hard to get my ass out to a concert lately. At this point it would probably take the Big Four, actually. Or Queens of the Stone Age, that’s a good party.
I would normally have a witty comment for how outdated and obsolete both of these bands are, who gives a shit in 2011, etc. However it can all best be summed up in a quote by the horse from Ren And Stimpy:
“No sir. I do not like it.”
Mushroomhead was good until their latest album. Lead single is “Come On” with lyrics… “Do you really want to fuck with me?” really…. how old are you? If I was 13, that might hit home… XX is a great album!
Say what u will about Mushroomhead, in my book they’re still better than roughly 80% of American bands that call themselves Metal.
And hed, well… they’re not metal
The only band that can get away with the costum wearing gimmick is GWAR.
@ Element. I have not thought of that in years.

awesome!
Mr. Bungle got away with it back in the day.
Seriously who actually enjoys either of these degenerate bands? How does hed P.E. even have a legitimate fan base these days?
hey this is to all you pussy bitches dissing on (hed) pe and mushroomhead you all can sux my dick. your just mad cuz they get all the bitches while your at home jacking off with icy hot. fags. (hed) pe and mushroomhead rock and the concert was fucking insain
its comments like this that makes me wish I wasn’t a mushroomhead fan :/
Did you put your clown make-up on before or after that post?
The above post is the typical hed P.E./Mushroomhead fan reaction. Poor spelling, terrible grammar, blatant disregard for punctuation and calling people pussies, bitches and fags. I’ll give you a D+ for effort, junior. If you can explain just how someone can “sux” your dick, I may raise that to a C.
Who cares about mushroom head CDs they put on a cool show id see um live again same with gwar I am not running to grab any of their CDs but I’d definitely pay to see um live again
Ok, I always see people mentioning “XX” on Mushroomhead pages on here. Has anybody else even listened to there albums from before that? because XX is just an album of assorted songs from their previous albums before hand.
mushroomhead put on a pretty good show when i saw them last year, i was pretty impressed with the crowd interaction especially when one of the percussionists let a kid onstage to play his drums for a song. say what you will but that’s what it’s all about.
