He Is Legend Bassist Dispels New Material Rumors
He Is Legend bassist Matt Williams recently dispelled the rumors of any new He Is Legend material being in the works. Speaking via Formspring Williams commented on the rumors, which started through frontman Schuylar Croom‘s Twitter, with the following:
“There has been no secret He Is Legend recording sessions going on. We’re not trying to cock-tease fans into still feeling like we are a valid entity, keeping them on the edge of their seats. That would be lame, completely out of line, and not like us. If we ever had the money, the time, and the energy to record a new album it would happen.
But as for now, everyone is busy doing their own thing. Schuylar has been working on his own shit. If it were He Is Legend stuff, he would have said He Is Legend. Ya know?”

^^^ Yes, they should scream, and throw some breakdowns in their too. I hate seeing really original and creative bands limiting themselves by not following the current shit trends that have zero substance.

You said it Matt, haha. Your band was never all about the breakdowns and screams, in my ears. There’s a band called Emmure that supplies all of that…but they do it pretty shitty where it’s not even tasteful. HIL doesn’t even try to do it and it comes out sounding 100x more awesome than all the predictable bands that do.
Other than boggles eyes up there, no one here wants more screaming and breakdowns for the record.
Everyone should check out Matt’s band “Unholy Tongues”. Saw them around a few bars here in Wilmington, good shit.
