dude. this fucking tour is a joke. aside from in flames, not ONE band from outside the US. that is gay. I’d rather be at a Sacramento Kings game…rockstar snooze-fest.

    • These tours always have the worst fucking headliners; and even though I don’t really care for Megadeth, is that top main stage portion in order? If so, someone should be fired.

Only bands I’d give a shit about seeing are Machine Head, In Flames, and Red Fang (I’ve seen Unearth enough times at this point that they don’t enter the equation), and something tells me Red Fang would get a 20 minute set and anything less than an hour for MH is a joke.

the headline stage IS in order of how u see fron top to bottom. I doubt that the dudes in megadeth wanted to even headline. im sure that theyre not openin up for disturbedgay and godsmackgay because they HAD to. I’m pretty sure they CHOSE to.

Megadeth has always been a joke. Yeah, the music is solid, but Dave’s got the most pathetic voice is metal. He can’t sing, he just kinda “angrily whines.” It’s 10 times worse live. The fact is, is that these festivals have to get the multi-platinum artists to headline, so they can sell tickets. No, Multi-platinum doesn’t always equal greatnes, but at the same time, all these shitty hardcore bands couldn’t ever sell out an ampitheatre. In Flames is fantastic, and they were around well before this hot-topic sponsored metal-core scene, and Machine Head’s got some good material here and there, but even they couldn’t sell that many tickets. Yeah, I love Disturbed, and they have the best live show out of any of these bands x50, but that’s not the point I’m trying to make. It’s that people that hate bands like Korn, Disturbed, Godsmack, Metallica, Slipknot and such, are always going to be dissapointed when they’re favorite metal-core band is the opener on the second stage, because the whole world knows that they’re just there to fill time. That’s just how it is. Oh yeah.

Since when has megadeth been a non multi platinum artist? Call me crazy but I’m sure megadeth has probably quadrupled gay ass disturbed album sales through the years.

fuck yeah dude. megadeth is one of the best fucking metal bands ever EVER. fuck disturbed and godsmack. fuck them. I bet megadeth wanted to go on after the rotating openers so the fans can gtf out of the venues and beat the traffic and let the redneck disturbed fans and frat boy godsmack fans duel it out for the rest of the night.

Of course Megadeth has sold more, they’ve released a dozen half-assed albums. I love the riffs, but as soon as the voice kicks in, I’m done. If they hired a new singer, and Dave JUST did the guitar, I’d be on board. I saw them with Dream Theater and Fear Factory on what I think was the first “Gigantour.” I couldn’t stand how awful they sounded live. His voice was comparible to Rob Zombie’s live voice, where he doesn’t even try to hit any notes, he just growns out words. And by the way, Dave’s more redneck than Disturbed will ever be. I saw him backstage while I was meeting members of Fear Facorty, and he wreaked of booze. Not worthwile. But yeah, I forgot, if you chant “USA” and support the troops, you’re a redneck. Gotcha. I still think Rammstein should’ve headlined this one. That would’ve been a show to see.
