Stupid move, they should’ve staggered them in case someone wanted to visit both.
What an awful event. Toronto is going to smell like douchebags for days after this, though it might cover up the smell of homeless people.
Disturbed and Godsmack??
Fail, Canada. Epic fail.
Just noticed they “merged” the Mayhem festival w/ theirs for the first night…still a fail.
And unless Canada can resurrect Despised Icon from retirement I doubt I’ll care much for their second night’s lineup. I could be wrong though…
metallica, slayer and billy talent are confirmed for the toronto show.
Toronto wins already. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alexisonfire on the bill.
Ah, I didn’t realize Toronto would have different bands. Perhaps I will make an appearance.
@druntmatt – According to who? I heard T.O. line-up was only going to be confirmed in early March…
Bands I’d like to see on non-Rockstar Mayhem Day 2 of Heavy MTL: Slayer, Meshuggah, Motörhead, Sepultura, Bison B.C. (Canadian content woo!), Clutch, Monster Magnet.
A man can dream…
HeavyMTL 2011 day 2 announced: Motörhead, Disturbed, Opeth, Billy Talent, Red Fang, In Flames, among others… pumped for Opeth, but man… nothing like last year… man…
HeavyTO line-up announced, reminiscent of last year’s MTL but plus Opeth: Megadeth, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Mastodon, Opeth, Auf Der Maur, more…
Considering I’m not too pumped for much in MTL (besides Opeth) and have seen TO’s line-up several times, I’m considering making Edgefest my big summer thing for A Perfect Circle. Haven’t seen ‘em in forever.
*don’t quote me on Day 2 actua line-up, I think Disturbed’s on Day 1 – anyways, all of these are playing one day or another.
