Details have been revealed for the U.S. appearance of ‘The Big 4′ (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax). The groups will be making a sole U.S. appearance together at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on April 23rd.

If this were 1991 this would have been the greatest tour of all time but they deceided to wait 20yrs now it’s like……..meh….
fuck it. I got to see half these bands (megadeth, slayer) on tour together last year with testament which was killer. and in all honesty i can give two shits about metallica and anthrax. but only one show….fucking weak….fucking WEAK!
I’ve seen everyone on this tour in their heydays. At the same time, if this was like $20 I’d go just for Slayer and Anthrax.
slayer & anthrax, then to the house. well, I’ve seen metallica before, good show, but watching megadeth would most likely kill me. it would be fun to chant “metallica” at dave while he sings.

Will, I’m 28. Grew up with parents and an uncle who were super into metal and punk.
I’ve only seen Slayer, and they’re probably the band I’m least interested in out of those 4. Metallica is certainly on my bucketlist – speaking of which I was able to see Ozzy last week which is good because I don’t know how much longer he’ll be touring. I wish they’d do a full amphitheater tour for this.
@Nate. I am 28 also. I was wondering if you were older (30-40). but congrats on having cool people to take you moshing at such a young age. I spent my time at wrestling (WCE, WWF stuff). lol

Last time I saw Megadave someone in the crowd threw a football and hit him square in the chest while he was soloing. I’m sure who ever did it was likely wearing a metallica shirt lol.
