    • Is it just me, or has everything they’ve played in either of these videos sounded liked something off of one of their previous releases? It’s clear that they’re purposely hiding the material (hence the lack of music in this video), but it does get me slightly worried that they’ve stopped evolving…

    • frog, although i too shared this concern, by the time i had thought of it, it had already vanished from my mind.
i think they can really do no wrong as far as their songs go, not to mention having their side projects should hopefully allow them to get out anything else getting in the way of that evolving.
Orbs’ album was great, and Thomas Giles solo effort is not too shabby either.

      either way

    • haha I couldn’t stand either one. Orbs’s vocalist just killed them for me, and Pulse was…. well, I should give it more time. It seems bizarre in an awkward and corny way too reliant on production rather than actual songs.

Honestly, the first time I listened to Pulse I fucking hated it. However, it just begs for multiple listens as there’s just too much going on, mixing of genres etc. I can safely say it’s a solid album, MAYBE THE BEST OF THE YEER!!!111
