As someone who grew up listening to real hardcore ala Black Flag and Bad Brains, all I can say is this tough guy bullshit is the worst. But I guess not liking them just makes me a whiny metalhead. I guess liking good hardcore bands like American Nightmare and Converge doesn’t count because they don’t have the same generic breakdowns that everyone else has. Down with jock infested hardcore. Up with originality.
