you pussies just cant handle the majesty of General SATAN! dimmu borgir is fucking amazing! there’s a cool short dvd that came with their Stormblast re-issue. the dvd is Dimmu co-headlining Ozzfest in Houston TX. they took the stage and the crowd was like “oh gay, we have shitty taste. norweigan black metal? yuck”. just not into it at all. no one was throwin’ up any horns \m/…and throughout their set as the sun was setting the crowd was getting more and more into it. by the end of of the set EVERYONE, like 20,000 people had their arms raised with a \m/. it was great to see closed minds be exposed to a great live show and appreciate a genre that’s a little more different, ominous, and more theatrical than the norm.
I love Dimmu Borgir, and I think this song is great, but they shot their cool video wad when they did the Progenies of the Great Apocalypse vid.
Damn, I feel a little green to this whole thing. I stopped watching WWE when I was about 10, these guys must have came out after that. I don’t get it.

Just did a handy-dandy Wikipedia search, and by co-headline you really meant 3rd out of 6 main stage acts, right? PS, the tour didn’t even stop in Houston their only year on the tour. Looking at the line-up from 2004, I would’ve rather seen the second stage.

Love the band, album, song, and video. Oh, and their 12/13 live set was amazing. Just blast-beat heaven.
No Green Day CDs here, I went with Dude Ranch by Blink 182 instead. Needs more make-up and long hair to be real music, though.
I love Dimmu Borgirs old stuff but not so much into this album. They kinda went the way of Cradle Of Filth. Just listen to Wolves In The Throne Room or Shining.

@Viking Not really a popularity thing as much as I like their original black metal stuff more. I like some of the new album, but it’s just not my favorite.
