The Dillinger Escape Plan look to have begun work on some new material with band guitarist Benjamin Weinman recently tweeting the following through the bands official Twitter account:
“Billy Rymer and myself have been underground building stuff. I have no idea what will become of this but i’m excited. Happy holidays.”

Strangely, I still haven’t gotten into Option Paralysis. It’s kinda annoying, because I really enjoy DEP. I must confess that nothing has knocked my socks off as much as Miss Machine did. That record is jaw-dropping.
Yeah, Miss Machine pretty much turned me from a fan to a die hard fan. It blows my mind when people rip on Greg. Nothing against Dimitri, but Greg at least has some range to fit into different things they want to do.
As for Option Paralysis, it took me about 2 weeks of constant play to really get into it. It’s not my favorite but it’s still 100% better than most of the other bullshit out there.
Greg’s just great. He’s a pocket-rocket in a black t-shirt. -I need to give Option another few spins I think.
I love the songs that stick out like Gold Teeth On A Bum and Widower.
Greg is my favorite front man. That dude is just a super nova of energy live.
i have had the same issue with OP. perhaps the constant spinning would do me some good. still DEP rule
I don’t think they’ll ever relive the glory days of ‘Miss Machine’, but it’s nice to know they’re trying. ‘Option Paralysis” is still way better than ‘Ire Works’ in my opinion.
I like Ire Works more, but thats just me.
Greg’s vocal range is unreal, looking forward to this stuff.
