2002 has returned!!
My thoughts exactly. I think they just picked a song that never made “The Lonely Position of Neutral.”
There is some shitty music in 2010 so.. a taste of 02′ isn’t bad… as long as it isn’t Bizkit
Not bad too bad for a radio friendly hard rock band. At least they’re consistent in their mediocrity.
who opened nu-metal’s vault?
Umm…it was me will. Sorry about that. I was mopping the floors listen to Adema on my old Walkman and..oh wait…you said vault, not door. Well, I was walking down the street to go to the bank to get out some $$$ in anticipation of the forthcoming Dry Kill Logic record, listening to Tura Satana on my Winplay3 mp3 player. Filthy tunes. Anyway, I asked for some $$$ and the bank teller said, ‘You know this ain’t no ordinary bank vault, bra?”…..
Thanks Surly. Thanks a LOT.
I like Dry Kill Logic. Back off.
I also like DKL, are they still together ?! The last album was released some years ago.
This is far from original, but it at least sounds like music of some kind. The metalcore crabcore bullshit bands are unbearable. I prefer this over 90% of the noise-filled crap that dominate heavy music these days.
This is pretty bland and cliche music. Rather than expand on my obvious opinion of this song, I will point out that metalcore is at least somewhat more enjoyable to listen to with the flashy guitars and blast beats here and there. But, that’s why I’m thankful for bands like the Faceles, Born of Osiris, Veil of Maya, Meshuggah, Circa Survive, and Animals as Leaders. At least they put out music that catches my ear and is respectable (in a technical sense).

@allichs – Apparently.
The question should be asked, which masterfuck of a record company decided to give this band a second run? I spun the first album a few times back in the day and that was it. Did I open the page and slip into a timewarp or what?
