STP and Korn will win, because that’s how the Grammys roll…
Why’s STP winning a bad thing? That’s a solid fuckin’ tune, in my opinion. Waaay better than Ozzy’s garbage. I’d be cool with STP, TCV, or AIC winning Hard Rock Performance. Soundgarden just came back, they don’t deserve it (yet), and “Black Rain”‘s nothing special.
Best Metal Performance is tough. I’m not interested in Megadeth, Iron Maiden,or Lamb of God, and KoRn sucks now. My vote’s for Slayer, good tune. No sanctuar-eh!!!
AIC lost out last year to fuckin AC/DC for Hard Rock. Bullshit. They need som recognition for Black Gives Away To Blue. Fantastic album.
STP is fucking awesome, even when Weiland is drunk out off his ass – which he was when I saw him two months ago, they had to chancel the next 14 dates or some shit like that after the show.
I’m not hating on STP, they rule, it’s just obvious to me that TCV and AIC aren’t winning, and that’s kinda a bummer.
Well, who knows, man… they can’t possibly give it to Ozzy. I mean… really, right? That’s gotta be a courtesy nomination. If Ozzy wins, I’m buying a Nickelback album. AND listening to it. I know, I know. Hardcore.
If Ozzy wins, the terrorists lose.
Isn’t it traditional to have Linkin Park in there too? Oh..wait…they’re a hip hop group now, right.
No band deserves it more than TCV.
For Hard Rock I’d be fine with AIC, STP, or TCV. All of those are good tunes. For Metal I guess either Maiden or Lamb of God. I don’t like that Slayer tune, Sudden Death is a gimmick song for a video game, and Korn’s new album is horrible.
Them Crooked Vultures for the win. And write in vote for Agoraphobic Nosebleed in metal.
