Song Writing Underway For New Megadeth Album
Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine recently revealed in a chat with the Megadeth Cyber Army that progress is well underway for the bands next album. Speaking on the subject, he offered up the following:
“So, right now I have Ken Eisennagel, you may remember him from the last two records doing engineering for all of the pre-production phases of Megadeth records? Well, he is here going over all of the new Megadeth stuff that I am working on… believe it or not we have five songs almost finished for the new Megs record already!”

Please, NEVER call it “Megs” again. That’s the single most pussified way to abbreviate Megadeth that I could imagine. In fact, it’s only like four letters more to just type the whole thing so let’s burn a few more calories next time.
Coming from the direct quote from the frontman, I think he can call his band whatever pussified name he wants
OH Mustaine… such lolz you bring us. Correct me if I’m wrong here, but didn’t he say he was quitting? Like a year ago in some interview. I read Tom Araya saying something along those same lines. I remember Dave saying how he had his studio and his son to keep him happy… or some shit.
I’m not ready for Megadeth to go away. The world will be much worse the day that Slayer and Megadeth call it quits.
