(hed)p.e.‘s new album “Truth Rising” has been made available for streaming over at AOL.com. The effort will see a release tomorrow, October 26th, through Suburban Noize.
There are more songs on this that I like than on the last one…. but that isn’t saying much, I like 3 on here… the last one I liked 1. Nothing beats their first two. Oh, the production doesn’t sound crisp and clear and clean… it’s annoying.
They oversaturate with 22 songs on these albums. Didn’t anyone tell them they’re supposed to take the best 12-15 and leave the rest in a safe for ten to fifteen? Of course, no one would really care about a posthumous rarities collection from (hed)p.e so maybe it’s not the best strategy after all.
i absolutely loved the first two albums; “church of realities” and “self titled”, but i could tell the first second i heard bartender it was all downhill from there. too bad , they had tons of potential. still luv em tho.

pretty solid release actually. I was surprised.
