Sounds awesome!
WOW! I’m impressed!
Upon second listen, I’ve come to the conclusion that this is definitely worth getting.
damn good, these sound clips alone are so much better than the last album
Latin flavored McDonald’s logo
YES! Vast improvement over “Enigma”!
No way Busey, everyone knows you need American cheese to make golden arches. How are you gonna put American cheese on a taco? We all know McDonald’s doesn’t know how to make burritos. Besides, I’m kinda liking the way this sounds. I’m digging this new record, it’s got flavor for sure. Really only like their first record Revolution but it sounds like they are back with a statement record. I like! About time. I’ll pick this up.
Really? Not one negative comment yet? Well allow me to be the first. I appreciate that Ill Nino are desperately trying to stay relevant and change their direction with EVERY album…. but I would probably choose death by slow castration over being subjected to this. I will admit to enjoying Revolution at one point but upon a return listen it makes me sad to think I was so easily entertained 10 years ago. Testicles…. that is all.
I’ve heard the entire album. Being a metal journalist myself, I can say with confidence that if you appreciate Ill Nino, you’ll love it. If you’ve been merely entertained by them in the past, you’ll at least like it (if you can get over yourself). Either way, in my opinion, it’s a helluva solid record and, indeed, a vast improvement over “Enigma.” Some bands benefit, in the long run, from changing up their style on each album, giving us something a little different each time. Ill Nino is one of those bands.
I’m not even some big fan Viking. I just think this record really sounds great. My nature says to hate this band but, these new tracks tell me to love them. Go figure.
