at the risk of getting funny looks and losing a little respect, linkin park’s new album is the best album released by a mainstream artist this year. while maroon 5, disturbed, and various other mainstream artists gave us the same shit this year, lp chose to retool their sound, at the risk of losing a lot of their fanbase. but this album has a really great sound to it, and it definately doesn’t sound like any of their old shit, so they get my respect for that one.

Really cool video. The track itself is boring like watching ice melt. guitar bridge starting at 3:00 is stupid as fuck. c#-c#-c#-c#-c#-c#-c# for 50+ seconds = pretty fucking gay.
What surprises me is why theprp posts crap by LP. LP was never metal and never will be. If I ate a bowl of alphabet soup I could crap out a set of better lyrics.
Yeah maybe it’s a somewhat different sound…but I still had a hard time getting to even the first verse since the song starts with “Yeah…..Yo….”
@ rasputinmetalguy You make a good point. I’ll be honest with you, i only care for maybe 3 tracks on the album if that…but they did take a chance on the new album. I am sure its going to pay off and make a nice “reintroduction” to their rapcore roots next time around…haha I gotta give my album of the year award to the Deftones.Hands DOWN

i’m more ashamed to say i used to love these guys than i am to say i used to love limp bizkit. no joke. Linkin Park is so damn pretentious. they think they’re the best band ever…. that being said, i will humbly agree that its still better and more creative than most mainstream radio music, and because of that, they make for a good gateway band for kids who are sorta just getting into rock music… but thats about all LP is good for.
