Limp Bizkit Drummer Hospitalized With Pneumonia
Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has confirmed via his Twitter that band drummer John Otto has been diagnosed with pneumonia. The diagnosis forced the band to cancel their previously scheduled show in Oslo, Norway yesterday, September 27th. According to Durst Otto has been admitted into an Oslo hospital for treatment and the group are hoping he recovers in “the next few days.”

I was there. They cancelled the concert 15 minutes before the doors opened. Kinda bummed to pay 500 bucks in travelling and hotel expenses. Hopefully John Otto will have a quick recovery. It seems they are playing Russia today as planned (according to Fred’s twitter) so I wonder who’s on the drums tonight.

I thought the same thing when I read that, and I LIKE the bizkit. Besides, back in their heyday, you had to make a concerted effort NOT to wind up in the middle of a limp bizkit concert.

The expenses would have been worth it if the show went ahead as planned. The 500 dollars covers 2 and that’s actually cheap considering the long traveling distance. You’d have to live here to understand. I don’t think Limp Bizkit’s ever played a show in Norway before though. I’m seeing Deftones+Coheed at the same venue in November and the costs will amount to more than 500 then too.
