A Perfect Circle Announce 2010 Lineup
The now officially reunited A Perfect Circle have taken to their Twitter to clarify just who will be taking part in their latest incarnation. Here’s how the lineup looks:
Vocals – Maynard James Keenan
Guitars/Vocals – Billy Howerdel
Guitars – James Iha
Bass – Matt McJunkins
Drums – Josh Freese
Newcomer Matt McJunkins has spent time in both Ashes Divide and Puscifer in the past. Further elaborating on the lineup, the group also offered the following:
“Jeordie, Paz, and Troy all have awesome stuff going on that they couldn’t step away from. But all is well with them.”

Keenan says he’s inviting former bandmates — bassists Paz Lenchantin and Jeordie White along with guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen — to stop by the shows: “I think some of the shows, depending on timing and depending on scheduling, we’ll have Paz and Troy and Jeordie pop down for a song or two.”

I’m surprised they got Josh Freese after he left NIN because he had too many other aspirations. Of course, can anyone actually name anything he’s done lately that would justify leaving NIN? Can anyone actually think of ANYTHING that would justify leaving NIN, ever?
