Even if their music was any good, they’ve already played it out online and on the radio for weeks, making it even harder to give a shit.
This is like what Papa Roach did… complete 180…. this is incredibly lame.

a 1000 suns is a big disappointment, 6 tracks out of 15 are stupid filler tracks/interludes and the only songs worth listening to are the catalyst and wrecthes and kings in my opinion.

I’ve never liked linkin park one bit, so couldnt give a shit if they go all dance. Also, saying papa roach is miles ahead of linkin park, is like saying one turd smells better than another turd. It was quite funny to read though!
what i wanted to say is that papa roach stayed true to themselves throughout the years and they have found their niche in today’s rock music, while linkin park is clearly suffering from identity crisis. if you don’t like papa roach, keep it to yourself elitist pricks, cause this newsbit is not about them. i just felt the need to defend them because rhino was talking shit.

I like LP’s first two albums. They were different than other bands. They had their own sound, imo. However, they flipped and are now a full fledged Dance Dance Revolution band. Papa Roach’s first album was solid, everything after sucks monkey dick. Now, Allichs, you like Limp Bizkit, whatever, to each his or her own, but for thinking Papa Roach is miles ahead…? No sir! It’s like Papa Roach and Linkin Park are on the same butt fuckin train that Powerman 5000 started.

Rhino hit it right on the balls. papa roach did a switch-a-roo and became some whiny radio friendly cry baby music unlike their first album. Linkin park has now surpassed papa roach and became techno for the mentally handicapped and little 14 year old rave girls. Completly different from their first album for sure. what the hell is going on?!?!

I’m not even sure I was aware of a pre-”whiny radio-friendly cry baby” Papa Roach. First tune I remember hearing from them was “Last Resort”. Were they decent before then? ‘Cuz that was pretty gosh darn radio-friendly.

Calling this ‘radio-friendly’ or ‘poppy’ is like calling an ugly slut ‘sexy’. Just because a band loses its rock/heavy elements does not mean that the songs are radio-friendly. This album is just bullshit that sucks not just as rock music, but sucks as pop, electronic, or any other genres/fields of music that exists. I’d rather listen to Akon or Katy Perry than listen to this horrible album.
