Sevendust Guitarist Clarifies Korn Comments
Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery has clarified his recent comments on Twitter regarding Korn. Here’s what he had to say:
“here’s the deal, I was joking around about Korn not letting guitar players play on stage. A joke. Lighten up. I love Korn. So much drama”
He further went on to state:
“Some People want so badly to see conflict and drama. It’s baffling to me.”

Clint has been the source of a fair amount of drama himself. Don’t be a hypocrite Clint. What you said was funny and true. No need to backtrack, it’s not like Jonathon Davis could kick your ass or anything.

Most jokes are funny and true, he isn’t backing down, he’s simply stating people blowing shit out of proportion, especially with headlines of him “lashing” out.

It seems obvious to me that in this case, “it was a joke” is a euphemism for “man did I get my ass chewed! Just kidding, dudes!! (man I hope we still have a shot at getting on a few of their dates and making some damn money)”

should be noted Sevendust just OPENED for shinedown chevelle and puddle of Mudd, they were the first band on. Considering sevendust has been around longer than all those bands, that’s pretty shitty at this point in their career
They need to either break from the mainstream and make some real, true music, or sell out completely and go the Puddle of Shit route and make a million bucks. I think the latter’s more promising for them (however much of a longshot it is). They’re going nowhere stuck in the middle.
Both these bands need to give it the fuck up….Or find time machines and take them back to when they were relevant.
I just played a show the other night and bled all over the microphone and the promoter told me “You need to replace this microphone Sevendust isn’t gonna wanna use this mic if I book them” I felt like saying it doesn’t matter because Sevendust sucks now.
Fuck Korn, they suck, they are NOT interesting anymore, no matter how many hipsters claim they are. They are the Michael Jacksons of nu-metal, in the sense that fame is warping them into fucktards. And they suck.
