(hed)p.e. To Release New Album In October
(hed)p.e. will release their new album “Truth Rising” through Suburban Noize on October 26th. Speaking on the album, band frontman Jared “Jahred” Gomes offered the following:
“The title is a statement about how in these days and times, more and more hidden knowledge is coming to the surface. People are becoming aware that certain truths have been hidden from the masses. The way to control the people is to control our minds, and (Hed)p.e are determined to shine a light on these secrets.
‘Truth Rising’ is our way of saying that nothing can stop the evolution of this planet and its inhabitants. We also want to remind people not to take themselves too seriously, so there are also a couple party anthems and tracks about the power of sex on the album. I think it’s important that people don’t become so obsessed with the Truth Movement that they forget the most important things, which are love and life.”

I wish hed would shine some light on this lyric-

Because I’m not really sure what that means.
@buttcrackguy – Many scholars have tried to crack the intricate web of wordsmithery, but the lyrics are clouded in too much metaphor to be able to fully interpret the true meaning.

Since when the hell did Jahred become a shitty version of Zack de la Roca? Honestly, I love their first two albums… but really… How do you make an album like “Broke” then completely fail at everything after? Jahred… no one fuckin’ cares about what you think is hidden. If you know something I don’t, it has to be about weed. So… Quite trying to be a fuckin’ prophet. Damn!
I played the shit out of the first album, it would actually be a top 10 of all time for me. Every CD after that first one blows chunks.

(hed) ruled the 1st time I saw them. They’re hella triflin’ now. @ Greezy: maybe you haven’t seen them recently, ‘cuz they just do a couple songs and rant for about 30 minutes about bullshit I don’t give a fuck about, even if I agreed with them, I came for a CONCERT, not a sermon. Their shit has gone downhill after their 3rd album. Downhill into pig filth
@allichs: I like hed pe. Their first two albums are amazing… the third is ok and “Only in Amerika” is decent, yet their new stuff is insanely lame. The fact they talk about secrecy in the government and lies and cheating, etc…. is fuckin’ idiotic. Who listens to that shit from them? If I want to hear it, I will turn on some biased ass news station like CNN or FOX news…. or Rage.. Fact is, Jahred has no idea what he is talking about and wants to be some fuckin’ prophet or idol…he isn’t. Just write music… and write it like “Broke” because that album kicked some serious ass.
